Stop Fixing the Wrong System: Ask the One Question That Changes Everything in Business

I was chatting with someone I recently met through a social club, and as she’s talking, something clicks.

She works from home. She is lonely, wants community, and more in-person connection. But she’s also an introvert, so going out all the time drains her completely. She wants connection yet the standard connection set up feels exhausting.

I can relate.  I have been there.

For years, I kept trying to fix the business of healthcare, not realizing it was not designed for what matters to me. I didn’t see it at the time. I convinced myself to keep going, try another variation, fix a process, just one more tweak is all it needs.

How many times have you done the same thing in your business?

You want creativity then follow a generic playbook. To close the deal, you pressure clients and watch them pull away. You want to stand out, but you keep borrowing someone else’s lead. You keep trying harder and nothing changes.

You keep working inside the same old framework expecting it to finally produce something different. But the system keeps doing exactly what it was designed to do. Spitting out more of the same.

What if you asked the following question instead? One that changes everything.

“What would I design if I started with the outcome I actually want?”

When you ask the right question, perspective shifts. The results finally started to look different.

If something in your life or business keeps handing you a result you no longer want, stop reaching for another fix. Right answers to the wrong questions won’t get you there. Asking the right questions for YOU will.

How you get there, that’s the fun part. Create what you want. From the outcome back. You’ll wonder why you ever settled for someone else’s system in the first place.
